This is a three page scheduling order that must be submitted to the court in most lawsuits at the beginning of discovery (after the complaint and answer have been filed, and usually after jurisdiction and motions to dismiss have been filed). It lets the court know what the parties feel they need to accomplish and how long it will take them to accomplish it. It sets forth to some degree what type of information the parties want to receive from the other side in discovery.
